Lasecki wins prestigious MSR Graduate Fellowship

Microsoft Research has announced this year's recipients of the very competitive MSR PhD Fellowships.  Our own Walter Lasecki is one of twelve chosen for this prestigious award.  This fellowship will cover 100% of the tuition and fees for two academic years, as well as a stipend, conference and travel allowance and a salaried internship.

Walter's work in continuous real-time crowdsourcing with advisors Jeff Bigham and James Allen has been accepted to conferences in human factors, user interface software, computers and accessibility, ubiquitous computing, etc.  He completed an internship at Microsoft in 2012.

Winners of the 2013 MSR Graduate Fellowship were from MIT (3), UC Berkeley (3), CMU (2), U of R, Penn, Stanford and JHU.  For more information about this program, please go to PhD Fellowship Program, MSR.
