I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester's Computer Science Department, advised by John Criswell, and co-advised by Michael L. Scott.
My research interests lie broadly in the area of systems security. In particular, I'm interested in strengthening the operating system kernel against run-time exploitation while keeping the protection overhead low.
To achieve that, I use compiler techniques that transform the operating system kernel to enable strong security policies, combined with hardware support to minimize the added security cost.
