I completed my MS in CS from UoR in December 2023. During my time there, I engaged in research activities that broadened my understanding of various aspects of computer science. Currently, I am leveraging my expertise as an NLP engineer at the World Bank, where I am dedicated to applying advanced natural language processing techniques to address global challenges. Looking ahead, I aspire to continue making meaningful contributions to the field of technology and to pursue opportunities that enable me to collaborate with diverse teams on impactful projects. My time at UoR has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in my professional journey, and I am excited to see where it takes me next.

During my time at University of Rochester, I've worked with Professor Prager, Shaposhnik as a TA for Data Analytics and Predictive analytics courses respectively. I've enhanced my skillset a lot while explaining the concepts to others. In my second and third semester, Worked with Dr.Conrad Gleber as a research assistant working on transcription with LLMs. After my graduation, I've been working as a Software Developer 2 at Credit Acceptance. I'm one of the developers working on their mobile application and responsible for developing new features in the app. I love hanging around the campus and have countless memories in Masters Lab. I've moved to Florida after my graduation and I can say I don't miss rochester weather xD. But I'm scared of summers there.

As I stand on the precipice of graduation, I find myself reflecting on the transformative journey of the past decade. It began with my undergraduate studies, continued through my tenure as a software engineer at a leading asset management firm, and culminated in the completion of my graduate studies in computer science. The landscape of technology, particularly in the realms of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, has evolved dramatically over this time. When I embarked on my graduate journey, the allure of AI was irresistible, a sentiment echoed by many in the field. Yet, my journey was not just about following a trend; it was about discovering my true passion at the intersection of AI and systems. My graduate experience was enriched by the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for courses like Computer Organization and Design and Big Data. Working under the mentorship of Prof. Zhu, I contributed to enhancing the vision for colorblind individuals. In my final semester, I delved into the theoretical side of computer science under the guidance of Prof. Kahng. I am deeply grateful to Prof. Ding, whose courses in Software Design, Parallel and Distributed Systems, and others have been instrumental in shaping my career path in systems. It is through his support that I secured an internship, and subsequently a full-time position, at a stealth-mode cybersecurity startup. Here, I hope to continue applying the insights gained from my graduate studies to influence design decisions within a dynamic team environment. In closing, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Prof. Scott, who has been a guiding light through the vast expanse of computer science. Your understanding and advice have been invaluable in helping me navigate my academic and professional journey. As I move forward, I carry with me not just the knowledge and skills acquired, but the profound realization that life is about continuously evolving and embracing the new. The journey of learning never ends, and I am excited to see where the next chapter takes me.
